This wooden pretend-play toy is a classic Montessori activity designed to develop fine motor skills in toddlers aged 3 and up. The set includes a collection of realistic fruits and vegetables (banana, carrot, orange, watermelon, kiwi, etc.) that are split into pieces held together by hook-and-loop fasteners (Velcro) or magnets. Using the included wooden knife and cutting board, children can have fun slicing the food and putting the pieces back together again and again, fostering hand-eye coordination and independence.
